Étendard was founded by two Christian brothers from Syria. It is the brand of a community: those who believe, who fight and who help each other under the same flag.
The land we left
We grew up at the edge of the Badia desert, in Syria. Our family, our church, our faith: that was our whole life.
Leaving
Terrorists destroyed our church and mistreated our family. They told us to renounce our faith or die. We refused. Some of our friends never came back. Two years ago we left with our parents, with a bit of luck and our faith as our only luggage.
What we kept
When we arrived, some people talked to us like children. We didn't want pity, we wanted a place. The ones who gave it to us were men who defend their country. They opened their door, their table and their faith to us. Today they are our brothers, and France and the United States have become our family.

A standard is what you raise so your own can find you. Étendard stands for our community: we fight together and help each other under the same flag. Our designs are drawn by hand by a friend who shares this fight. These countries took us in. Now it's our turn to defend them.
